In German, French, Mathematics and English (5G), students are enrolled in either the Advanced Course or the Basic Course depending on their results at the end of 7G and 6G. Please find further information in the Brochure sur le cours avancé et le cours de base en 6G et 5G.

At the end of the school year, the 5e ESG pupils must choose a training course for the continuation of their studies. The Lycée Aline Mayrisch does not offer training courses in the upper classes of general education. Therefore pupils must register for another school during the 3 national registration days which take place the first few days after the start of the summer holidays, this year on the 18th, 19th and 20th of Juli.

Below you’ll find general information on the different training courses starting from the 4th grade.

Below you’ll find a list of courses offered in the different general secondary schools (p.9-22):

Students who wish to continue their studies in a French or English-speaking class may enrol in a RLS (classe à régime linguistique spécifique), which is listed below:

For registration in the new school, pupils will have to provide several documents. They should check on the website of the new school what documents are required. They can also find the registration form on the new school’s website. Pupils must make a copy of the 5e school reports. The following documents are sent to the pupils with the last school report: Fiche de départ, Décision de Promotion and Avis d’orientation.

Pupils can find relevant information on all sorts of professions and careers on the website beruffer.anelo.lu and cdm.lu consisting mainly out of short video clips.

We encourage pupils to visit the schools they are interested in during their open days usually taking place towards the Spring period. It is also important to visit the website of these schools.
